Choir Rehearsals: Wednesday @ 6:45 p.m., Choir Room

Temple’s Sanctuary Choir has a very rich heritage of inspiring worship and offering enthusiastic praise. The goal of the Sanctuary Choir is to inspire, encourage, and uplift the church, and to help others worship the Lord with great joy. The Sanctuary Choir leads worship in the 9 a.m. Blended Worship Service, and is typically accompanied by the orchestra. The choir is open to singers ages 15 and above. Auditions are not necessary. Music reading ability is not required, but if you read music it will help.

Children’s Choir Rehearsals: Wednesday @ 6 p.m., The Journey Place (7 week rotations) 

Temple is a great place for children to learn how to follow Christ, and our M3 ministry helps kids express their praise to God in creative ways. In the fall, we stay together in age-appropriate classes and go through lessons to learn about music and enjoy singing as a group. In the spring, we offer multiple music tracks which allow the students to choose their creative outlet. Whatever track your child chooses, they will be enhancing their music and creative skills while learning about God’s love for them.

Temple Orchestra currently leads worship in the 9 a.m. Blended Worship Service and for other special occasions during the year. Our orchestra is open to those in grade 9 and above. Auditions are required.

 Band leads during our contemporary worship experience at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. This band is open to grade 11 and above. It is an auditioned group.

Celebration Choir is a special-event choir that sings in our 10:30 Contemporary Worship Service several times per year. This is a non-auditioned group, open to both inexperienced and experienced singers of all ages.

Midweek Band is a student-led praise team that leads our temple college Ministry service on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. during the school year.

We currently offer two handbell choirs! Our Sanctuary Handbell Choir is made up of bell ringers from college age and above. Rehearsals are held Sundays at 5 p.m.

Ensembell Choir is a small handbell group. They meet on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Both groups ring praises in a mixture of old favorites and new songs arranged for bells in worship services and special events.

Both of these groups meet in the Handbell Room (Room 213B).
