Welcome to Ruston & Temple College

We’re glad that you have taken time to check us out. College can be some of the greatest years of your life, but it also comes with some uncertainties. 

We believe that no one needs to go it alone, whether you are a Christ follower or just checking out what church is all about. We have a lot of ways for you to get involved and meet some new friends. Sundays we have worship (Blended Service at 9 a.m. and Contemporary at 10:30 a.m.) as well as Sunday School (9 and 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall).

Other areas you can get involved in are:

  • Mission Trips (Spring Break to Panama City)
  • Music (Praise Band, Orchestra, Choir)
  • Youth and Children’s Ministry (Volunteers, Bible Study leaders, Interns)
  • Family Life Center (Workout facility, Exercise classes, Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball leagues)
  • International Ministry (Conversational English partners)

Sundays: 9 a.m. Sunday School (Fellowship Hall)
Sundays: 10:30 a.m. Worship (Sanctuary)
Wednesdays: 7 p.m. Freshman Bible Study (RM 216)
Wednesdays: 8 p.m. Midweek (Sanctuary)

Who We Are

Temple College is the college ministry of Temple Baptist Church, Ruston, LA where there is a long-standing tradition of serving college students for 50+ years. 

Some of us are from right here in Ruston and others are from as far away as China. Together we are trying to live out (and some of us figure out) what following Jesus looks like as a college student. We are committed to each other, committed to encourage and challenge each other to be: God-centered, Bible-directed, and people-focused during this unique time in our lives.
